Methinks that the 'consultation' that the govt is undertaking on this issue is not worth the paper that it written om. A foregone conclusion very much like Sadiq Khan's 'consultation' on extending the ULEZ
When somebody, somewhere mutters the words "The government should do something about that", ears prick up in Whitehall, functionaries leap into action. Indeed they do something about it, they curtail freedoms and impose costs and fines. Whenever has a government decided that doing nothing can be preferable to doing something?
