I Think The Answer Is Partly 'Had A Street Name'...

Detectives investigating the suspected gang stabbing of a 15-year-old in one of London’s most exclusive suburbs have been met with a wall of silence from youngsters.

*shrugs* Mark it 'NHI' and close the case, then...

Chief Superintendent Andy Carter, Borough Commander for Camden and Islington, said: ‘We know that there were lots of people in the park on Thursday evening, many of whom were young people who may be finding it difficult to come forward. I would urge you to think about Deshaun’s family who are looking for answers.’

Are they?

Notes left at the scene to pay tribute to Deshaun, also known as ‘Huntz’, included: ‘Long live Huntz. You will be missed, but sleep tight beautiful boy.’

That's what we call 'a clue', I think.

  1. Being an aspiring architect/footballer/rapper must be on the list of most dangerous jobs now, overtaking roofers, soldiers and police.
In other news, who saw the rioting youth in Oxford Street at the weekend? Hardly got any publicity for the obvious reasons. But the police are picking on them!!
    Jaded.

  2. Plod never think outside the box with 'there' daft knife amnesties.

My Final Solution for ridding the streets of this menace requires the redistribution of all previously collected blades, at rap concerts and other suitable gangsta locations.

  4. Maybe he was a really good looking knife carrying thug?

  5. Perhaps he was stabbed by a racially-motivated white man, or is that hypothesis completely crazy?

I bet police are still looking for a motive.

  6. From the experience of working in a number of London teaching hospital A&E’s …

The cause listed, for documentation purposes, in the vast majority of cases involving “yoots” (showing my age and Cousin Vinny’s influence) is, what is now known solely by the acronym SOCMOBSAM (“I was Standing On a Corner, Minding my Own Business, when Sumdood just Attacked Me”). [It makes identification, for those of us not versed in the correct pronunciation of ‘made-up names with more vowels than associated brain-cells’ easier – as we just call them SAM 1, SAM 2, etc., or occasionally Mr. Dood]

From the numbers and frequency involved, this rates that particular pastime as one of the most dangerously lethal ever known to man (Jumping from a plane, sans parachute, into piranha infest waters, whilst wearing nothing but a combined pork-chop and bacon ensemble, ‘may’ possibly equal the casualty rate … but only just).

So? An angelic aspiring rap star (the most dangerous ‘career’ choice available), standing on a corner etc. has to be … well, it’s clearly a case of suicide.

Wasn’t it Kim de Toit who said “You can take the African out of Africa, but you can never take Africa out of the African” and “Africa wins again” whenever such “ethnic cultural enrichment” occurred … yet again. Well, Africa just won again.

    And put it on Pay-Per-View.
