Well, It Takes A Village To Raise A Child, After All...

A cyclist who crashed into a three-year-old girl at a zebra crossing in east London suffered a broken jaw...

Came off his bike, did he?

...after being violently assaulted by a member of the public.

*suppressed chuckle*

“The suspect is not believed to have been known to the child,” said a Scotland Yard spokesperson.

Nice to see some people still retain the old atavistic instincts, despite the current woke agenda.

Police investigating the incident are now appealing for any drivers who may have been in the area at the time and could have dash-cam footage of what happened to come forward.

I hope they don't, if it allows him to be identified.

  2. I won't comment on whether or not the cyclist deserved the broken jaw, as that is a given, but just a remark from me that 3 year olds do have a habit of running off and are a danger to themselves. No, it's something else. I followed the link, and what you see very clearly is that the road markings have been partly worn away and not replaced, which is something that the authorities seem to be neglecting along with the potholes.

  3. Faded road markings are definitely in evidence but you can clearly see that it is a crossing. Unless the road was wet, in which case worn road markings can very much be an issue.

Now let's hope that more bystanders are willing to get stuck into the Just Stop Oil morons. People that I would be happy to see getting a kicking.

    It tickled me immensely!

Yes, but as Fahrenheit points out, it IS clearly a crossing.

It's going to happen sooner rather than later; the weather pretty much guarentees it!
