This is the moment a cyclist is flung over in the air after not spotting a closed gate in front of him - the third person to do it in just eight months.
The safety-conscious rider - with a helmet on and lights on his bike - is seen heading down a hill at speed in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
But the thick metal gate - leading to allotments - which is sometimes open, had been shut.Because it's not that of any pedestrian who might step out in front of him, is it?
You'd have to be half blind to miss that gate. If they put up a big yellow sign saying, GATE!, he'd probably have run into that
ReplyDeleteYou have no idea how happy this made me.
ReplyDeleteClearly it was the fault of some car driver- probably one who parked a car some hours before.
"The man is heard growing on the ground before getting up and walking to his bike."
ReplyDeleteAnd then he goes and buys a bigger bike?
You need a heart of stone...
ReplyDeleteGates is to blame for so much.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jeremy Vile's comments on the report are.......
ReplyDeleteI hope the gate wasn't damaged. I trust the police are charging him with riding without due care and attention?
ReplyDelete"You'd have to be half blind to miss that gate. "
ReplyDeleteIt's the typical MAMIL - head down and oblivious.
"You have no idea how happy this made me."
Oh, I think I do!
"And then he goes and buys a bigger bike?"
Yes, that was odd, wasn't it? Being the 'Mail' I suspected a typo - 'growling'?
"Gates is to blame for so much."
😂🤣
"And Jeremy Vile's comments on the report are......."
I hope he knows, should he have watched it, we were all imagining it was him!
" I trust the police are charging him with riding without due care and attention?"
Ha ha ha! Oh, you're a wag, you are...
