Maybe Look A Little Closer To Home?

A new report published on Tuesday revealed police recorded more than a million crimes against women and girls in 2022/23 - accounting for almost a fifth of all offences excluding fraud - leading bosses to label the crisis a 'national emergency'.

And employees to shrug and carry on with what they were doing, it seems.

  1. And nothing to do with importing millions of violent young men from cultures that despise and oppress women of course..........

  2. Or the belief that many women have that because they are entitled to take risky behaviour, those risks aren't real. And before anyone damns me for saying that, I'm entitled to do some risky things, but I won't, as my risk analysis doesn't like the probable outcomes.

And, let's not forget the 'made up' allegations.

  3. If a fifth of all offences are against women and girls, does that mean that four fifths are against men and boys?

  4. It's my understanding that primary school teachers have significant problems avoiding charges of sexual assault on their pupils. Essentially they may not touch them at all, which means they cannot help with the blowing of noses, cleaning up after "little accidents" etc..

I don't know what happened in the cases cited, and frankly it's unlikely anyone who was not present does, but it is quite possible that mountains were made out of molehills.

Of course, it then becomes possible to hide genuine assaults because many of us will simply assume that is what is going on.

  5. Well I suspect that crimes like speeding are significantly more than violence against women. I've watch YTs where women are so in your face that the Pope would smack them around a bit just to shut them up. People should avoid these people but it is difficult. Luckily I've never hit a woman but I have been tempted too many times.

I see this as the reason so many black kids don't have a nuclear family. The men run before they beat the crap out of them or they are in jail for beating the crap out of them or killing them.

    Of course not!

Maybe now men are encouraged to beat them up at the Olympics, things will be different?

"...does that mean that four fifths are against men and boys?"

My maths is bad, as regular readers know but yes, I believe it does.

    Good point!

"I see this as the reason so many black kids don't have a nuclear family."

It's very 'chicken/egg' at its heart, isn't it?
