Soft Cell's version takes me right back to the summer of 1981 when I worked a summer season at the Butlins holiday camp at Filey. It was a fun time and left in my mind a snapshot of the pop tunes that were current at the time. The Human League, Devo, Toya, Adam and the Ants and Stars On 45.
