I know that Dan Brown was much maligned for not exactly being a literary genius but I found his books to be fairly entertaining. I enjoyed the way that he set puzzles for his characters and invited the reader to solve them too. Deception Point and Digital Fortress were good fun but it was The Davinci Code and Angels And Demons that were made into movies. Apart from the timelines of two films being back to front, both were very faithful to the books and I thought that they were very well done. The casting of The Davinci Code was really superb The characters being exactly as I had imagined them. My wife thought that Audrey Tatu's hammy French accent was hilarious and made her think of the resistance girl from Allo Allo. Pointing out that she was actually French didn't help.
