Brings back fond memories of the year that, with much pretentious fanfare, Ralph Lauren introduced their new designer label - ‘The Big Pony’.

It’s not the only linguistic phenomenon to be missed Stateside; imagine the horror when poor little Shiloh Pitt discovered the existence of Spoonerism….

So it's not bad enough that the Son of York was defamed by Shakespeare, now he's a black woman?!?

Back when my daughter was doing productions with her uni drama group, male parts were often played by females. This was mainly because the drama group didn't have enough guys in it. The History Boys was fun. Even the Nutcracker by the Russian Ballet had soldier boys that were played by girls. It's pretty obvious in this case that they are doing it on purpose because they think that it winds us up. The more common reaction is to point and laugh.
