"The enemy of my enemy is...oh, another professional chauvanist pig, you say?"

Bonkers feminist and professional womyn 'writer' for CiF Bidisha comes out with a corker today in her column on the Gordon Ramsay incident:
Grimshaw's response has been extremely confident and pro-woman: "I'm not surprised by any of this – we've all seen how Gordon Ramsay treats his wife, and he supposedly loves her." And Kevin Rudd, the Australian prime minister, has won my lifelong respect by calling another man on his sexism. According to him, Ramsay's remarks reflect "a new form of low life".
Kevin Rudd, you say?

This Kevin Rudd....?

Strange choice of person to win your lifelong respect Bidisha. Or, perhaps, you didn't do your homework?

But then, I suppose, if I was paid a shedload of money for churning out this kind of rubbish in CiF every time they wanted a long thread, I'd say 'To hell with Google!' too, and throw another shrimp on the barbie open a tub of low-fat organic hoummus...

  1. Kevin Rudd is not actually a real person. Australia's best kept secret is that he's really a face painted on a balloon and Julia Gillard is a talented ventriloquist. The stewardess he supposedly spat the dummy at was actually bribed to stick with that story instead of revealing the shocking truth - that the low cabin pressure caused him to swell to twice normal size before flying round the interior of the plane at high speed with a farting sound. Opinion is divided on how much better this arrangement is than the previous system in which we had Mr Garrison from South Park for 12 years.

It is possible, though not certain, that I have imagined this.
