Last night local authorities admitted they used up their supplies of road grit in a series of equality and diversity workshops in August and whatever was left was used to fill small plastic bags that were then thrown at smokers.Is it still satire when it's uncomfortably close to the truth?

ReplyDeleteVery funny but the real reason that the Councils have left motorists in the lurch again (apart from going on two weeks holiday on Friday when the nuclear winter started) is that they are still in thrall to the Met Offices advice that cold winters are becoming less likely.
ReplyDeleteAny council Worker who advocated investing in salt stocks would be exposed as a Climate Calamity Denier and thus be doomed to vilification and fail his/her CRB audit, lose their job, children and home to end their days scrabbling for food...

ReplyDeleteBut this cold snap was forecast at least three days in advance. And after the debacle in February, you'd think they'd learn..
