Backgrounds Can Only Be Examined In Some Communities…

A Tory MP was plunged into a race row after he accused some ethnic communities of importing 'barbaric and medieval' views about women into Britain.

David Davies, a member of the Home Affairs select committee, was accused of a 'crass misunderstanding' of the issues after his comments over a rape by 14-year-old Asian Balal Khan.
Oh, dear. What, exactly, did he say then?
The MP for Monmouth told BBC Radio 5 Live: 'What is it about this young man's upbringing... his community or his parental upbringing, that led him to think that women are second-class people whose rights can be trampled over like this?
Well, what’s so wrong with that?

I asked much the same question myself and frankly, the longer it goes unanswered, the more suspicious it is that the usual suspects were so keen to examine the Edlington creatures’ backgrounds (to excuse them, of course!) and yet so desperate to avoid a call to dig into this creature’s background…

However, it seems that screaming ‘racist!’ is the preferred method of deflection.

And of course, every intellectually-challenged MP in the UK promptly opened their mouths to insert both feet and curry a bit of political favour:
Let's focus on what TC was really saying in his question. Which, put crudely, was that the boy raped because he comes from a community - the Muslim community - which doesn't respect women's rights. That was what he was saying, wasn't it?
No.

But thanks for playing, Kerry!

  1. The MP is spot on. Thge comment from 'that' MP is only what you'd expect from someone with arrested development syndrome. Why can't these lefty twats ever GROW UP?

  2. but what has the "community" got to do with how that little turd was dragged up? Davies could have made a valid point without muddying the waters.

  3. Davies point was valid, the community as a whole has issues with womens rights, it's part of their belief system. Not all are at fault, however it is an issue and it needed raising, the righteous response was simply to be expected and it doesn't make the issue go away nor stopping your average person in the street thinking what Davies said out loud either.

  4. roym "Davies could have made a valid point without muddying the waters."

But he didn't muddy the waters : he cleared them. Mohammed was a warlord who encouraged his troops to rape the wives of prisoners of war. After a brief, fluffy period in which he called Allah the compassionate and merciful, he went on to be a raiders, looter, and had rivals assassinated.
This is all basic Islamic history and theology.
Our Muslim neighbours who ignore this and get on with life are heroes, but the large majority who stand with the jihadists know that theviolence is orthodox, and the intolerance fundamental to Islam.

It's everyone who even hints that Islam is a 'religion of peace' who is not only muddying the waters, but also poisoning the well of truth by ignoring the facts.
Orthodox Islam derides and hates women, as does much of its law. So by Islamic lights he wasn't doing such a bad thing.

You just don't seem to know how brave the peaceful Muslims are, coming form what they come from and settling productively amongst us.
But the crazies - the true Muslims - are growing ever more numerous and influential and it's so in large measure encouraged by those like you who say that telling the truth is muddying the waters.

They've no need to. No-one ever makes them...

"...but what has the "community" got to do with how that little turd was dragged up?"

Yet 'the community' figured heavily in the examination of the Edlingtom case, and Karen Matthews.

Did you not read the in-depth accounts by reporters, writing as if venturing up the Amazon to encounter strange tribes with peculiar ways of life?

    Sauce for the gander...

"Davies point was valid, the community as a whole has issues with womens rights, it's part of their belief system. "

Cue all those bonkers feminists decrying white working class 'domestic violence culture'.

    Sauce for the gander...

"But the crazies - the true Muslims - are growing ever more numerous and influential..."

Especially with a desperate government looking for votes.

"Kerry successfully delivers her 'vote BNP at the next election', speech."

Pound to a penny, she gets in yet again. Some people never learn.

  7. If you google for 'rape' and multicultural' you will find some astonishing statistics about rape in Europe involving immigrants and local women.

It indeed is a racist issue :(
