He said: "Lothian and Borders Police are investigating after a male was seen performing an indecent act on a lamb.
"The suspect fled the scene after being disturbed, at which time the lamb was found to be dead.
"Inquiries are now under way to determine whether the animal's death is linked to the incident."
No doubt if caught, his defence will be one of drunkenness or mental illness.
I hope he had the decency to choose a good looking one ..

The search has been narrowed to a taxidermist who mounts animals in the field and crack police are on the job.

ReplyDeleteShouldn't that be "well hung" for a sheep as a lamb? Seems to me there's very little happening in Lothian and The Borders if their plods have time to piss around with this sort of thing. Has the District Auditor been informed, I wonder, and calls made for a reduction in this force's establishment?
