Why Southampton Is An Unsafe Area…

A van owner looking out of his window at night was shocked to see a man removing tools and wearing a fleece he had also taken from the vehicle.

When Zak Rivers confronted Desmond Murtagh, he was told: “Back off, you’re insured, claim insurance.”
And that, folks, is why your insurance premiums go up year upon year…
Near neighbour Peter Grace then confronted Murtagh who punched him on the arms and head, and pushed him against a fence.
So that’s brazen theft and assault.
Judge Rosie Collins sentenced him to a 12-month community service with a six month curfew.
/facepalm
An out-of-work electrician suffered a fractured nose and eye socket as well as blurred vision after being headbutted in a Southampton takeaway.

Drunken Craig Pierson launched his unprovoked attack in a misplaced perception Mitchell Thomas and his girlfriend had been talking about him.
They didn’t challenge him, they walked away.
The pair walked off to a takeaway but Pierson appeared asking what they were saying. He was told to leave and went outside but then burst through the door and without warning headbutted Mr Thomas.
So that’s continued aggression and assault.
Pierson, 21, of Causton Gardens, Eastleigh, admitted inflicting grievous bodily harm and received a 12-month suspended sentence coupled with an order to do 200 hours’ community work, and pay his victim £500 compensation.
That’ll teach him. Not.

Is it any wonder that we’re in such a state?

  1. These sort of incidents completely boil my piss.

This is why the law should be strengthened to protect those acting in defence of self and others and provide a strong deterrent in the form of other citizens giving you a complete pasting.

  2. It wouldn't happen in an armed society. End of discussion.

  3. The victim should just get drunk, go round the bloke's house and thrash him.

Then he can bleat about a difficult childhood and 'alcohol problems' in mitigation, along with anger management issues and learning difficulties, and get a supervision order for 12 months.

500 quid for a fractured skull? Outrageous. Someone should give the Judge a good kicking too, so then at least he'll have some real life experience the next time one of these scum-bags pops up in front of him

Bring back the stocks. Let the offender be laughed at and mocked. Passers by will be able to witness his shame and the local press should be urged to include a photograph along with the report.

Sorry, they can't do that. Even the police have been warned not to, since it infringes the scumbags "human rights"

I'd be inclined to leave it to a jury. Which is probably why they've restricted the right to request a trial by one!

"Someone should give the Judge a good kicking too..."

That's the problem. They are never, ever affected by the results of their policies. They don't live or socialise in the same areas.

    Indeed!

"Even the police have been warned not to, since it infringes the scumbags "human rights""

It seems everyone has these, except....decent humans.

  10. I don't often agree with you, but you're right this time - those are truly pitiful sentences.

Prison is the place for thugs and thieves, and there they should find hard work, hard bread and a hard bed.
