The Work Placement Officer Needs A Tattoo That Reads 'Mug'...

A convicted burglar is on the run after allegedly stealing money from a charity shop while being left alone with keys during a work placement.
/facepalm

It's just so unexpected, from a recidivist serving an indeterminate sentence, isn't it?

Police are now looking for him. I did like this touch:
He is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, of medium build and with hazel eyes and grey hair.
Jackson also has an Essex accent and a tattoo on his right arm saying "Mum".
Awww....

He was recaptured. It gives more details of the offence. I wonder if the key holder had been told the truth about Jackson?

I was hoping it was CRUK, Oxfam or RSPCA but no such luck. British Red Cross.

    From the East Anglia Times:
He has a tattoo on his right arm of the word ‘Mum’ with dates underneath.
His birthday and 25 December, so he doesn't forget Christmas.

  7. Wonder why Essex people are so predisposed to criminality and unfortunate accents?

  8. Christmas...well you can't seriously expect him to keep track of Easter. That would need a look-up table spreading over both his ample buttocks and would have to be tattooed backwards so that he could read it in a mirror.

Makes a change from googling it I 'spose.

  9. Police said Jackson should not be approached and are asking people who might have seen him to call them.

Can you call the police rude names even if you haven't seen Jackson. Or is it some kind of privilege for those that have?

It's so confusing this crime lark.

Doubtful. That probably breaches the DPA.

"How bloody tacky can one get?"

The current in thing is still Maori designs in Southend.

"His birthday and 25 December, so he doesn't forget Christmas."

    SNORK!
