An investigation in January that led to the review blamed the attacks on “increased pressure on residents as a result of the recession and the financial situation many are in.”The Barbican is one of the most exclusive estates in London!
Are we really suggesting that 'the recession' has driven owners of £1mil apartments into going off on one at the housing staff in the Barbican, like Carly and Wayne in the housing offices of Saint Duggan Terraces..?
The City of London owns and manages nearly 2,800 properties on 11 estates, two of which are in the Square Mile. The others are in seven boroughs including Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Islington, Lewisham and Lambeth.Nearly 1,900 properties are occupied by tenants and the rest by leaseholders and freeholders.Ah! It's OK. Relax, everyone. It's merely a case that they get lumped in with the aforesaid Carly & Wayne...
Um, well the cost of tickets for the LSO have gone up a bit recently.
