I Am Woman, Hear Me Whine…

…and wrap myself in the warm coat of victimhood:
A leading gender-equality campaigner has said she will lodge a formal complaint with the Crown Prosecution Service, accusing it of releasing details of her case to the press before contacting her.
Her case being, of course, that people were mean to her on Twitter:
In a tweet posted earlier in the day, Criado-Perez wrote: "Well that's pretty awesome. CPS informing press about charges ahead of me. About the level of victim-support I've grown to expect."
You’re not a ‘victim’, love. This is a victim.

  1. When will whining women who have not endured anything remotely entitling them to claim victimhood realise that their whining over nothing, does nothing to help anyone anywhere?

It's not even a passive whining is it? It's a damaging, constant trickle that defines women as weak and pitiful to the unquestioning masses. I bet she defines herself as a feminist as well.

Is poor Caroline Criado-Perez after compensation for hurt feelings or does she just want to bask in the attention?

    Both probably

    Ugh

  2. As there is a shortage of banknotes depicting women (apart from the Queen), I hope some will soon be issued with Caroline Criado-Perez's fizzog on the front.

I shall put them in the smallest room, as QE has reduced their value so much that they are hardly fit for anything else. Not looking forward to plastic notes coming out though.

  3. Whining women and victimhood, you seem to make a good attempt at both with your blog julia, i often wonder what made you so angry or disturbed for you to hunt these stories like its an addiction and then to re-publish them with snide comments attached.

Having said that the odd gem is a good read

    Merry christmas

  4. Shouldn't that be spelled "Ricki"?

  5. Spelled "Dickhead" is more likely, but he is dyslexic.

  6. I wonder what Ocado-Perez thinks about Erin Pizzey being chased out of the country by death threats from Marxist radical feminists in the 70s? The ones who when not penning said threats were assailing Pizzey's speaking engagements and trying to destroy her by every possible means?

  7. "It's not even a passive whining is it? It's a damaging, constant trickle..."

As annoying and wasteful as a dripping tap.

"Not looking forward to plastic notes coming out though."

Well, quite! Remember Izal Medicated sheets? ;)

"Whining women and victimhood, you seem to make a good attempt at both with your blog julia.."

Except I'm not calling for people to be brought under the control of the State for things I find uncomfortable.

Bit of a difference, I think you'll find.

"I wonder what Ocado-Perez thinks about Erin Pizzey being chased out of the country..."

Probably wonders who she is. The modern feminist is convinced they are the first warriors in the battle.
