Just LOOK IN HER SHOES, You Meanies!

God, I love the comments section of local newspapers! The outpouring is over this:
A 25-year-old mum-of-six is pleading with Thurrock Council to move her and her children so she doesn’t have to battle three flights of stairs.
Brace yourself for the amazing crop of chavnames allocated to her litter:
Single mother Belinda Chatterton, of Defoe Parade, Chadwell St Mary, has six children aged three or under – twins Lenny and Levi Chatterton, aged nine months, twin girls Milly and Lilly Bulmer, aged one, Romany Bulmer, two, and Demi Bulmer, three.
There really are no words, are there?

  1. Thankyou for the interpretation and commentary, otherwise I would have no idea what was going on. As they say, everying is in the name.

  4. The story provides an interesting variation on the standard Underclass Arithmetic problem (subtract the eldest child's age from the mother's and take away another 9 months for gestation).

In this case, perhaps to make up for a relatively late start, she and the father(s) must have been practically humping away in the post-natal ward, even allowing for the fact that she had what one comment delightfully described as two BOGOF deals.

  8. Milly and Lily, names much favoured by the rich upper classes these days. Get your story straight. Levi is Jewish, leaving only a couple of names, to ascribe to chavdom, or is it an ism?

What really is evident is that you, your slavish supporters, and all the usual suspects who comment around here, wouldn't recognize an upper class name if it hit you in the face.

One step up from the chavs, but with a few pretensions.

VOTE UKIP LIKE WE ALL DO AND WE"RE DOING GREAT NOW WHERE IS THAT CAPSLOCK UNLOCK? AND TO THE NOISY FOLKS NEXT DOOR STFU YOU ARE SCUM.

  9. With Milly and Lilly, I suspect an intervention by a third party, possibly a registrar who couldn't inflict Meconia (DYOR) and Leconia on them.

Belinda's one of the Hampstead Chattertons, then..?

"What really is evident is that you, your slavish supporters, and all the usual suspects who comment around here, wouldn't recognize an upper class name if it hit you in the face."

Well, you certainly can't go by a double-barreled name anymore. It now means mum has narrowed it down to two possibles...
