Martin Collins from Pavee Point told TheJournal.ie that he believes the priest overreacted: It seems to be a bit extreme for a parish priest to be refusing any person, regardless of their ethnic background, from a church because of a dress code. It’s bad enough any day but on Holy Communion day in particular.Hmmmm, really? If someone showed up in a bikini..?
Comments are not in favour of travellers.

I am trying to decide which group are the more professional 'victims', Muslims or

ReplyDeleteYou're gonna need 150mg of methylphenidate in hot black coffee.
The "dress" in the photo appears to be a blouse, so if it was worn without leg-coverings, it certainly was inappropriate on an adult in church.
ReplyDeleteI love the moronic comments about racism, answered by many more sensible people pointing out the "travellers-who-don't-travel" are white Irish, the same race.
They should try getting into some Italian Cathedrals. The dress code there is often enforced by armed Police.
ReplyDeleteMaybe idiots/pretentious poseurs like Lagerfeld are into Pikey Chic...
ReplyDeleteMelv (for I assume it is you at 13.34),
ReplyDeleteI don't suffer from ADHD or narcolepsy and there's nowt wrong with my nervous system (apart from wondering what pearls of wisdom you will come out with next). Apart from that thank you, I think, for your concern. Now, 5 Hail Marys and I'll forgive you.

I fucking hate pikeys! So do the great majority of people in the UK and the Irish Republic! Lying, cheating, robbing, tax avoiding scum who love to play that victimhood trumps supported by the law and a bunch of lefty twats! A pox on them all - err the pikeys and all their supporters!

There's only one way to find out...
"The "dress" in the photo appears to be a blouse..."
Indeed! I can't blame the church.
