In all seriousness, and I'm not expecting anything other than a glib and facile reply from you, you cannot seriously expect anything else than delays with the cuts that have been imposed on the CJS? Local courts have closed, the courts estate is falling apart and no one seems to care. I'm sure there are are a hell of a lot more miscarriages of justice out there, both with the innocent being convicted and the guilty going free. You'll be happy with what's going on until the day you get involved with the system. By the way, don't say 'it'll never happen to me'. It could. Still, you get what you pay for don't you. Retired
Around 14 months. That may not be as quick as some would like it but it certainly means that the case was heard properly and justice was served.

"...but it certainly means that the case was heard properly and justice was served."
ReplyDeleteA bit slower than the Tommy Robinson case, though?
"...and I'm not expecting anything other than a glib and facile reply from you..."
Hey, you pretty much guaranteed that by wringing your hands about 'the cuts, the cuts' like some Common Purpose Lady MacBeth.

Supports my statement. Tommy did not get Justice where this driver did.
"A bit slower than the Tommy Robinson case, though?"
ReplyDeleteIndeed! Funny how the creaky old jalopy turn into a F1 car when the State needs it to, eh?
