This Is Why We Don't Trust The Media...

Really? Does the new law permit this?

Reader, it does not:
The two of them had travelled all the way from Kent without insurance and a driving licence.
Existing law pertaining to the driving regulations is the seizure justification. Absolutely nothing to do with the hasty new legislation brought in for the CoronaVirus pandemic.

Gosh, what could explain this?

Where would Neil "Wolf-crier" Ferguson be on that graph?

  2. When out taking my exercise yesterday with my dog I was passed by a motorcycle doing at least 100 mph. I wish there were more vehicles seized when they are being used illegally or in such a dangerous manner.

  3. Can you imagine the true headline? "Dickheads from Kent have their seized for driving it without insurance or having a driving licence."
They'll never sell papers with a byeline like that. Sensationalism everything. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

  7. @Jaded - I can't see that this story is anti-plod: it's purely indicating the complete absence of intelligence amongst the Mail's writers - or should I say, confirming it.

He's been quiet of late, hasn't he?

"I wish there were more vehicles seized when they are being used illegally or in such a dangerous manner."

Now would be an ideal time for the motorway cops to rack up some experience. Why don't they?
