Time To Do Your Stuff Again, Social Media...

Photographer Duncan Phillips, 55, who was shooting images of the seal when it was attacked on the slipway, told MyLondon: 'It was quite a vicious attack. The dog just wouldn't let go.
'It wouldn't let go despite repeated attempts by members of the public to separate the animals.'

None of them, sadly, has a weapon, except their bare hands. They all deserve medals.

The owner? Scarpered. In case the police could be bothered to turn up...

'The out of control dog was recalled by the owner who then left the scene...'

It's a woman. Chances are, a local. Good chance someone knows who she is. Social media is good at this.

“One of the men actually started kicking the dog quite aggressively and the owner got rather upset...”

Hopefully, she'll soon have something else to get upset about.

  3. Someone I knew had a theory that if you rang a phone and restrained a female so she could not answer it she would eventually explode, I think this would probably work with my wife although have not tested it yet, not sure if it would work with a bitch

  5. Dog nutters vs. seal nutters. Not easy to pick a side on this one. I do have some sympathy for the vet who was bitten three times by the seal. Who would have guessed that a badly injured wild animal with a mouth full of needle sharp fangs would be capable of such a thing.

  7. Apparently, the best way to handle a dog is to reach quickly down through its mouth and gut and out of its arsehole, where you can grab its bollocks (you have to settle for the tail if it is a bitch) and with a sharp flick, withdraw the hand - and the dog flips inside out like an umbrella on a windy day.

Never tried it myself, though ...

  8. "... INTO our house one off the leash and the other out of control and ran for her and ownner could not hold it"

Any mutt that enters my house in hot pursuit of one of my cats (or one of my neighbour's cats) won't be leaving. Ever.

Unless it's to the vets for cremation.

"...it soon let go, doesnt work on a bitch"

Especially if the bitch in question is a QC?

"Not easy to pick a side on this one."

Very easy, actually, when you look at the dog owner's reaction to being found out!
