Police say a 40-year-old man from the Bristol area was arrested on suspicion of murder and released on conditional bail.How on earth can you be bailed when you've apparently flagged down a complete stranger in a remote country area and beaten him to death?

ReplyDeleteBail for murder is not rare. We have 24 hours to charge and the suspect can't be remanded unless charged with an offence.
