JuliaM- From first reports his death looks like it has more in common with that of Michael Hutchence than Kevin Greening- nobody else was in the hotel suite. He has 4 (presumably now grown up) children, so 'de mortuis nil nisi bonum' seems appropriate in this instance.

Although I've noticed a few reports on the news now nentioning that he'd talked of suicide.
Which is strange, because not too long ago, people (even coroners) would go to the ends of the earth NOT to hint at suicide if they could possibly avoid it.
As Mark points out though, it's a hell of a tragedy for his family, now that there's no possible way of covering it up, as they surely could have done had he done this at home.
Fame and money obviously not enough for some people. I find it strange that people who achieve their dreams could become so desperately miserable that they end their own lives.

Quite. Rope round the neck and genitals in one news report I read. Perhaps this is why many hotels offer the Timney Channels these days - a quick hand shandy is always safer than a badly-executed (sic) 'Milligan Manoeuvre.
It's ages since we've had a decent comedy death, like Milligan or Rod Hull or Michael Hutchence*... so all I can say is excellent work, Carradine!
* In a way, it's a tragedy that the bloke out of East 17, who managed to run himself over with his own car while in a drunken stupour, survived - that would have been the all time greatest rock'n'roll comedy death ever.
Who needs a good agent when you have a manager like this:
"I do not know if you want to call it accidental," Chuck Binder, Carradine's manager, told CNN's Larry King on Thursday. He said Carradine's career was on a roll.
Binder said a producer of the movie, "Stretch," which Carradine was to act in, called him from Thailand to tell him what was happening there.
"I do not want to get in the middle of this whole investigation, but this guy said to me for sure there was foul play," Binder said.

Now it's 'Yup! Suicide! Must have been!'...
