When Life Hands You Lemons...

...errr, hold on!:
Officers were called to reports of an acid attack in Chequers Lane, Dagenham, at around 2.50pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Emergency services attended and found a 29-year-old woman suffering with a sting to her eye.
Pretty weak acid?
It was later confirmed that a substance was thrown over her and a 38-year-old man, who was not injured.
A Met Police spokeswoman said that the liquid was believed to be a citrus juice.
Curiouser and curiouser.

Well people know that citrus juice is acidic. With the current state of education in the UK and the intelligence of those we are importing they probably thought it was the same thing as sulphuric acid. And so easy to get hold of too.

Did the Met say the officers couldn't concentrate or had they run out of juice...? Getting my coat.

Were they Tangoed? Was the culprit dressed in orange?

Cause of injury - they'd been Jaffa'd.
That's the humorous(ish) part, but with the morons and cretins running around these days, who would know what the substance was?
