Bit Of A Misleading Headline…

How 'cherished' are they? Well...

Mrs Cowdrey said: “This is a real area of concern for our residents. Both sites are public spaces which should be used for public benefit. The local residents association believe they should be put back to public use. Particularly the old Hinguar school playing field which has been locked for many years and we have been trying to get more information about the covenant placed on this land.”

Hmmm.

I bet both cherished spaces are only used by dog walkers and are mostly made of compacted dog poo
There was a similar site near me until they built an old peoples village on it

Known to Geologists as The Dogshittian, the stratum is the uppermost member of the Anthropocene (Late Tertiary).

I had a pal who hated dogwalkers and their little chums' shit, but was ambivalent about when they did it on the local sportsfield as he hated the sports enthusiasts with an equal passion. Of course, that was in the days before the almost universal hanging of white plastic bags of dogshit from trees and shrubs.

The bushes here in Belfast are festooned with black bags. It must be the coal fired power stations.

Site will need more decontamination than a petrol station!

"Known to Geologists as The Dogshittian, the stratum is the uppermost member of the Anthropocene (Late Tertiary)."

"It must be the coal fired power stations."
