And given the fuss they've made about past remarks of others, there's no getting away with excusing this chaps' Tweets with 'It was all in the past when he was young and he's different now!'

Not for nothing are they referred to as 'LibDumbs' - stupidity and arrogance is a deadly combination.

On the plus side, at least she's honest about it in this instance!

Odd they don't seem to apply that thinking to Farage.

So some MPs signed a letter supporting the release of a known Islamic fanatic without knowing what they were signing, and we, the tax paying public, are supposed to believe that these people are fit to govern us. I understand that MPs have admin support and advisors. What were they doing when requests to sign this letter landed on their bosses desks? To a certain extent, this reminds me of stories of Police officers telling suspects to sign a blank letter of admission and the details would be filled in later.
Apparently, El-Fattah has stated that he realises these earlier tweets were abhorrent, though Muslims are allowed to lie, if it is to deceive their enemies, which includes all non muslims, and that lie furthers the cause of Islam.
As far as the Hong Kong prisoners are concerned, I doubt that this government will do anything as neither have called for the extermination of Jews, only the freedoms the Chinese promised on the handover, and it appears the Labour Party is a wholly owned subsidiary of the CCP/Islam coalition. I know the Muslim excuse for lying is taqiyya. No idea what the Chinese word is.
