'Learning Those Lessons', Eh..?

Ruth and Zac Jones, from Bristol, say they have had a brick thrown through their window and four vehicles set on fire, among a series of targeted attacks similar to those that preceded the death of Bijan Ebrahimi in 2013.
The Joneses have logged more than 50 complaints with police over four years, but claim they are still targeted on their estate in the north of the city.
Zac, 29, who has a rare skin condition that he says leads to him being bullied, says that neighbours make homemade signs falsely alleging he is a paedophile.
If that sounds rather familiar, it should. Clearly, the place is a shithole, inhabited by underclass morons.

And the police have learned nothing, as usual:
One officer – since dismissed for sharing racist posts on Facebook – who was investigating the targeting of the Joneses believed that Ruth was the aggressor and not the victim, and had even smashed her own car windscreen.
Did he have any proof? It seems not.
Police say they have been working with Ruth and Zac Jones, including putting them on a “problem solving plan”.
Since it seems their problem isn't so much their neighbours as the useless, racist, lazy cops they have to deal with, I wonder how that could ever help...
The chief inspector of Avon and Somerset police, Mark Runacres, said the “force has made great strides since the Ebrahimi case”.
He added that having studied the call logs of all of the incidents, the sentiments of the dismissed officer “are not reflected in the response” of others.
"It was just one bad apple! The others are all fine, honest!"

A public 'service' which is not fit for purpose, should be denied support at every level. It is the duty of every decent citizen to spur a cowardly government into necessary action. Totally disbanding a corrupt and evil organisation and ensuring the rebuilding a law enforcement body the public can trust and respect, is the priority. It is second only to a successful strategy for eliminating the new viral threat.

A new agency must be stagfed and controlled by hand-picked graduates and it will be vital to ensure that the body is free of existing contaminants and insane policies with which we are now all too familiar.

Good riddance to a vile, ineffective, despised and autonomous regime.

Hand picked graduates Melvin? That degree will come in handy when Stabby Mcchav is drunk and beating up Chardonnay again. Perhaps Latin quotes will disarm him ?
And second only to the virus in priorities? I never know if you are tongue in cheek or just a half wit. I give you the benefit of the doubt usually and opt for the latter.

It is essential for Law enforcement officers to be imbued with a high level of intelligence, competence, integrity and application, WC Jaded. Otherwise we might find ourselves in situations where Inquests are told that contemporary, helpless plod must not enter water to rescue a drowning citizen because they lack training, intelligence or application. And we have countless appalling examples in all areas of policing, do we not?

In the course of deliberately sabotaging child abuse investigations, Essex police officers (presumably those well known to you) were discovered forging documents and hiding evidence out of laziness and cynical disdain for vulnerable victims. Bereft of integrity, they are not alone by any means, are they?

Incompletely educatid (sic) police may be proficient in driving around, drinking coffee and eating donuts but these are no more desirous qualities for recruitment than being jet black, outrageously queer, transgender or congenitally impaired in decision-making.

There are too many examples of dishonest, stupid and rotten UK police to debate here, even given JuliaM's extreme indulgence. Suffice it to say that Heinrich Himmler provides us with a far superior police selection model than present UK selection procedures.

Paucity of catch may be disappointing but an intentional 'typo' proves excellent bait for the snail-brained, Jaded.

I think we have more pressing priorities, Melvin.

And I frankly wouldn't trust the government currently wrecking our economy over the flu to build a better one anyway!
