Given The NHS Claims To See Nothing Inherently Wrong With Them Fucking Their Cousins...

..this new revelation shouldn't really come as a surprise:
Britain's leading abortion charity has been criticised for encouraging 'sex-selective' terminations - amid fears these are on the rise among the country's Indian women. The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), which carries out 110,000 terminations a year, suggests that aborting a baby on the basis of sex is not illegal - despite Government advice explicitly stating it is against the law.

Well, there's a charity that needs stripping of its charitable status then!

Dame Jasvinder Sanghera, a campaigner against forced marriages, said:'Health professionals need to stop turning a blind eye because of cultural sensitivities or the fear of being accused of racism.'

You don't say...

DHSC said in a statement: 'This Government's position is unequivocal: sex-selective abortion isillegal in England and Wales and will not be tolerated
'Sex is not a lawful ground for termination of pregnancy, and it is a criminal offence for any practitioner to carry out an abortion for that reason alone.
'Anyone with evidence that this illegal practice is occurring must report it to the police immediately.'

Who are as captured as the charity and will be only too happy to turn a blind eye to anthing ACPO may deen a 'cultural issue we shouldn't meddle in'....

Advertising (Double) Standards

The mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has stepped in to reverse a ban on adverts on the London transport network calling for abortion to be decriminalised.

Yes Reader, the same Sadiq Khan who previously banned swimwear adverts...

It is understood that the mayor is seeking an “urgent review” of a Transport for London (TfL) decision to ban the adverts from the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (Bpas) charity on the grounds they may bring the Metropolitan police into disrepute.

As if that were possible....

The campaign posters feature the anonymised stories of real women who have been investigated by police and in some cases prosecuted after a termination or pregnancy loss.
The decision to ban the ads came despite TfL previously allowing pro-choice campaign material on buses across London, sponsored by Doctors for Choice and Abortion Talk and featuring the slogan “abortion is healthcare, not a crime”.

But the very law of our land states that under some circumstances, it can indeed be a crime.

But then, it appears a bit of killing goes down well at TfL's advertising department:

Last year, campaign material on assisted dying from Dignity in Dying was also approved to run on the network, including in Westminster tube station.

What a wretched organisation, happy to flaunt its inversion of societal norms while it fleeces the customer blind.

But Stella, What About J K Rowling's 'Independence Of Mind'..?

Oh, really, Stella? Do tell us more...

I think MPs must all have some sort of Altzheimers, because they seem to be incapable of proving themselves utter hypocrites every time they speak...or maybe they are just thick?

Running Out The Clock...

In an email to the campaigner, the police told her that they had dropped their investigation because the 'limitation of proceedings' had expired on September 6. They added: 'I again apologise for the time this case has taken to come to this position.'
That's handy for the police, isn't it? A clever way of ensuring no egg hits their faces. If only they could have foreseen that this would be a non-starter...
Ms Vaughan-Spruce's arrest came weeks after she was found not guilty by Birmingham Magistrates Court for silently praying outside the same clinic in December last year.
Oh. So, knowing this, why would they arrest?
Speaking via charity ADF UK, which has campaigned against buffer zones, Ms Vaughan-Spruce said:'What happened to me signals to others that they too could face arrest, interrogation, investigation, and potential prosecution if caught exercising their basic freedom of thought.'

Ah. Of course. The process is the punishment, isn't it?

Good, Because That's Exactly The Signal It Should Send...

A mitigation plea was sent to the judge in April 2023 signed by groups including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Midwives. “We plead to Your Honour to consider leniency in this case … we are fearful that if the case before you receives a custodial sentence it may signal to other women who access tele-medical abortion services, or who experience later gestation deliveries, that they risk imprisonment if they seek medical care,” it said.

I can't add much to what's already been said at Tim's and Orphans', but I'll add this: 'Good!'

Because that's exactly what it should do. Especially if they knowingly lie about how far along they are when they do seek it.

Where Were You When Vaccines Were Mandated..?

Outside Thomas's Virginia home, a crowd of several dozen people waved placards, drummed and waved flags. 'My body, my choice!' they yelled, holding aloft posters labelling Thomas a 'treasonous turd' and proclaiming: 'Reproductive rights = human rights.'

Funny, I don't remember protests when covid vaccines were being mandated everywhere, and it was mooted that those who didn't get them should be ostracised from society, do you, Reader?

But let the 'right' to terminate a potential life on a whim be threatened, and suddenly the people who'd cheer that on, without a flicker of self-awareness, are marching outside a Supreme Court judges' house...

Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, spoke from the steps of City Hall on Friday and proclaimed that his city was ready to welcome those women who needed an abortion, but were unable to get one in their home state.
He also revealed that, when he was 15, his then-girlfriend needed and got an abortion. He said he was just back from jail - he was arrested for trespassing because he entered a house to take possessions, feeling he hadn't been compensated for odd jobs - when his girlfriend told him.

What lovely people they elect to high office there...

'Linda came to me and said, 'Eric, I'm pregnant and look at your life,' Adams said. 'She said Eric, you're arrested, you're not going to school, what future is this baby going to have.'
'She made the decision that was smart for both of us, she made the right call because she was empowered, she was in control.'

Said, once again without a flicker of self-awareness, that if being a convicted thief isn't a bar to success in the modern USA, why should a child be one?
