Most Unfortunate Choice Of Phrase Ever

A former bomb disposal expert accused of booby trapping his wife’s car with a grenade told police, “I can’t believe it. I didn’t do it. I love her to bits.”
/facepalm.

Freudian slip. He obviously meant, "I'd love her in bits."

Typically short tempered, the vast majority of women blow up over nothing. The insensitive ones fail to realise that losing a wife can be very hard.

I also read an unfortunate choice from Newbury over the weekend:

"We were expecting a good run from the horse, he had great potential," said Thorner.

Sadly, a potential that was all to soon to be realised.

"Sadly, a potential that was all to soon to be realised."
