Should They Have To Wear A Big, Scarlet 'S'?

Mr Fuller's brother Stephen, of Cleethorpes, criticised bar staff for serving him alcohol, saying: "If he had taken his tablets and stayed off alcohol he could have lived a normal life."
Well, maybe. But how the hell were the bar staff to know?
The jury heard how the former civil engineer, of Curzon Court, was a schizophrenic and had a history of self harming. He was prescribed tablets and told not to drink.
Just how are they to know that?

It'd clearly be against his 'uman rights to send a picture of him to every bar in the country with a note, wouldn't it?

Presumably had he been refused alcohol on the grounds he was mentally ill (the pubs might be a bit empty if it was a rule that was enforced rigorously) we would now be reading a piece about how an ambulance chasing lawyer had just extracted X thousand pounds out of the bar for discriminating against a disabled person.

Ah, it seems to be in the water of quite a few places, if so...

I wouldn't be a bit surprised.

Spot on!

"Surely he would have to wear two S's?"

Heh! But they call that MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder) nowadays, don't they?
