Damn, Now I Have To Buy A Playstation3...

...in order to play this:

The animation is truly stunning. Let's hope the AI can match it.

More details here.
Interacting with your griffin-ish friend is not going to be smooth going from start to finish, however. "The eagle does not simply follow all of your directions," Ueda said. "Throwing something that catches his interest will get him to move -- you aren't working with him and giving him orders, but you're more taking advantage of his natural behavior. Sometimes, you'll need him to sit still in order to finish a section, but he'll run off on you instead. He's not all that smart, and he won't necessarily do what the player wants all the time."
That reminds me a little of Lionhead's 'Black and White' (and its less satisfying sequel), with its sometimes-helpful, sometimes-not Creature...

You'll want to get a 60GB PS3 (only available on Ebay now) so that you can pick up 'Ico' & 'Shadow of the Colossus', two great PS2 games from the same guys

Yes, from reviews I've read, you don't need to have played these, but if they are as stunning graphics-wise, it'll be worth it...

Ico and Shadow Of The Colossus are being remastered in HD for the PS3 - so need to worry about finding the originals.
