As legal uber-blogger Jack of Kent points out:
"...it is one of the most significant cases of our times, and it is significant on three levels."Read the rest to see what those three levels are.

This blog wishes him well.

Seconded.
And again... this is too important to be let go by us bloggers, freedom of speech (and jokes) needs protection, which is what the courts so far have signally failed to give us!
This paranoid nation over-reacts to every 'terrorist threat'. No credible threat needs to be there as the gov, security circus and MSM will do the rest for you. All any actual terrorist has to do nowadays is own a Blackberry etc ... he/she needs no weapons or explosives to cause mayhem and disruption.
We didn't act like this when the 'troubles' in NI were happening (over 3,500 killed, over 10,000 injured) ... so why now? The answer is the security circus and the control of citizens. The bogeyman terrorist is perpetuated by all in authority. He does not have to actually exist at all because this circus will carry on.
Our actual security is laughable and if the RIRA do carry out their threat to attack UK, the circus will be totally useless.
Most of the citizens of this country have become nothing more than sheep ... which was the intent from the very beginning of this complete farce.
l wish Paul well today.

Indeed. If they think that delaying it to November means we'll all forget by then, they've got another think coming!

Because some very clever people have, as you say, figured out that that way lies riches and control over others. And I don't mean the terrorists!
