c2c Gets A Break, At Least…

London Underground services were disrupted during this morning's rush hour after the theft of cabling, as well as signalling problems.
That sounds familiar
The Central Line was suspended between Woodford and Leytonstone via Hainault and between Leytonstone and Grange Hill via Hainault from the start of service until 7.40am due to a cable theft at Fairlop, said TfL, adding that it was working closely with British Transport Police (BTP) to tackle the issue.
Good luck. You’ll need it.

I believe TfL actually shuts off the power at night to avoid accidentally killing robbers...
