A fair comparison and many clear comments.

"...Or on the other hand is it the virtue signalling multi-millionaire who screams about ‘racism’ when he probably didn’t suffer much of it himself..." I disassociate myself from an ignorant and hate-filled assertion.

Before he found fame and power, I have little doubt that Hamilton suffered much racial abuse, especially during the formative years and his astonishing rise through Karting. Some black celebrities, Nat 'King' Cole for example, deliberately chose to steer clear from racial equality campaigns when it suited their pockets, new lifestyles and best interests.

Admittedly times have changed but Hamilton must be given credit for not turning his back on colour issues. He didn't need to take on this extra weight on his shoulders and it is churlish for anyone to suggest that his powerful stand is motivated by a desire for further personal rewards. Underneath his composed and dignified public appearances, there is a prevailing sense of injustice.

I wish Hamilton the very best of luck with his campaigns and for the current F1 Season.

I doubt every word he says, when he claims to have grown up in a 'slum'. When he patently didn't, and the evidence is right there for anyone not utterly stupid to see it.

Being relative, the word 'slum' has enraged you when it was innocently used to describe your own dwelling, JuliaM? N'importe quoi.
