In c.1967 there was a hilarious sketch on 'I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again' at the time of the introduction of Second Class Post. At that time, First Class cost 5d, and Second Class 4d.
The ISIRTA team were visionaries, depicting the then squeaky-clean Rolf Harris as a purveyor of dirty songs.
The postage sketch is on the CD compilation set, though I suspect references to Rolf have since been purged.
