“Ms Vanni is a capable cyclist whose injuries would have easily been avoided if proper planning had been done by the council.”

I do not need to ride my bicycle with due diligence and care that is the states responsibility.

And I will sue anybody who says differently.

As this is stated in the first sentence of the article, I think one could reasonably say, yes.

'a capable cyclist'?

I think not, not according to the facts before us.

I've definitely got my head screwed on wrong as I've never felt the need to sue when I've fallen off my bike because I've not been paying attention.

Now, if she was complaining the state of the roads and how much she had to spend (money/time) getting her wheels sorted then I'd have sympathy.

I think I'm going to walk into a wall and break my other arm, then complain that the council didn't put uip warning signs and florescent tape...
