Helpful Tips For Ecoloons…

Tip One: If you are going to put up professional-looking posters around town to protest the council’s (completely predictable) perfidy, then it’s best to run them through spellcheck first, to avoid the appearance of being illiterate hippies:



Tip Two: If you are going to send your minions out to tie yellow ribbons around remaining trees, then some form of helpful guide might be welcome, in case your minions are morons.

About those ribbons all over the place- why do environmental protests so often seem indistinguishable from littering?

I was rather hoping the council would view it in the same way, but no. They're still there!

I hate bad spelling. It is everywhere these days even on the Beeb website. I also loathe cheap signage, words daubed on a scrap piece of wood to advertise services e.g. 'Bed & Breakfast'; not tempting me in I'm afraid. My favourite at the moment, seen on the A229 between Cranbrook & Staplehurst the other week; 'Germin Shephard Pupies for sale'. 40 years of comprehensive education?
