An investigation into claims a woman was raped in Woking has ended after Surrey Police concluded the attack did not take place "as described".That's heartening.
Not as heartening as the news that she'll be facing charges would be, admittedly. But maybe it's early days for that?
Woking neighbourhood inspector Lynette Shanks added: "This report caused significant concern among local residents in Goldsworth Park and I hope this update offers some reassurance to those who live close to the area."Probably not the men...

Not a problem. We don't matter any more, especially if we're also white (ugh!), middle-class (ugh!) and employed (ugh!) in the private sector (arrggh!).
Quite. Your comment reminds me of the bird-flu scare; reading the Government's guidelines as to the priority of people for innoculation, were the disease really as dangerous as they were making out, we'd be left with a society that included no taxpayers.
Some one needs to grasp the nettle and publish the figures.
Genuine rapes/false reports.
Harriet Harperson and her ilk are always on about the low conviction rate. Maybe the Courts are seeing through the not quite so obvious lies.
What's that, now? 42? 43?
"The alleged attack was one of two rapes reported in the town within three days."
Okay, very small sample size but 50%..... so much for it being a rare, nay, freak occurrence, eh?
We are all dire at spotting liars,so much so we elect them to office. I am no longer sure what rape is and wonder if we should re-codify. The truth on this is too difficult for harpies like Harriet blueknight. The offence, like all violence is disgusting, but we seem to have forgotten Germaine Greer's sound advice on the matter.
ACO - still bxed

Well, with Harman no longer in the driving seat, that attitude should slowly diminish. As soon as someone grips the civil service by the scruff and shakes them...

That pool of taxpayers that gets smaller and smaller, every year...

Indeed. Plus there's the different types of rape. Perhaps, as ACO suggests, a recoding is needed.

I think the classic image we all have of rape is the 'jumping out from a bush with a knife' type.
But successive progressive movements have managed to imbed the idea that waking up next to a strange man you don't fancy after all in the cold light of day (though you spent all night with your ankles behind his neck, under the influence of 20 Bacardi Breezers), is also rape.
where are the 'similarities in these cases'?
one may or may not turn out to be a case and the other is a case of a false report of a serious crime.
the police advice to reduce crime in the area - be afraid, be very afraid, especially if its dark, your a woman and you see a man. My advice to reduce crime - if your a man in this area treat at least 50% of the women as a potential threat to your life. If you’re a woman and you want to reduce crime read a story about a boy and a wolf and discuss.

Yes, the feminist screechers never seem to consider the corollary, do they?
In lieu of not being able to find your email address, another false-rape case:
