Well, Yes. There's Always An 'Infinite Need' For Free Stuff....

“We’ve only really started this operation since the lockdown began. From the various conversations I’ve had with the people that we’re supplying there seems to be an infinite need for food.”
Gosh. Who could have predicted it?
“Originally when we started we wanted to just help the NHS and then from additional feedback from depos and different sources, we’re now looking to transition to a 70-30 split between people in need and the NHS. NHS workers need support and we are supporting them, but I think that people who were in need before are more prevalent in need now. I think a lot of people are looking after the NHS but there’s no one really making a band wagon for homeless people, refugees or children who were going to school without food before the Covid-19 crisis.”
Apart from the plethora of fakecharities that leech off the taxpayer to ostensibly 'resolve problems' for these groups, you mean?

I've nothing against food banks helping out the genuinely needy, but as soon as I saw that this mob were helping 'refugees', any chance that I might help this group went right out of the window. It's because we feed these invaders posing as 'refugees' that they keep coming and keep putting the rest of us in danger.

I knew weeks ago that I would be one of the many middle class pillars to support the 'needy', including Messrs Plod & Jobsworth. A lifetime's thrift and hard work will now count for nothing.

I long ago stopped donating to any organisation that was not wholly concerned with UK matters. Anyone who thinks the people who sneak into UK deserve support is welcome to pop over to Calise and see just what kind of freeloaders they are supporting. Asylum seekers my a**e they are benefit seekers almost to a man. Anyone who wants to take issue with that needs to do as I have and go and see for themselves before they flame me.

Who are all these 'needy' people in the NHS who need free food? They've got secure, well-paid, reliable jobs with bomb-proof pensions in the softest of organisations - how come they can't afford to feed themselves all of a sudden? No 80% furlough there.
By all means take a food-cart to the infirmary car-park and sell them instant meals anytime at a standard commercial profit, just don't try to imply that they're 'needy'.

Spot on!

"I long ago stopped donating to any organisation that was not wholly concerned with UK matters."

Sadly, that still leaves the woke organisations like the RNLI and RSPCA...

Well, quite!
