Not The Most Professional Of Threats…

Home owners are living in fear after a knife was pushed through their letterbox.
Errr, why?
Two men shouted threats and kicked the front door of a home on Wolseley Avenue, Jaywick, in the early hours of this morning (February 4).
OK, that’s scary, certainly. There’s always the thought they might break the door down, after all.
The victims were asleep when the attack began.

They went downstairs to see what was happening.

One of the men put a knife through the door before making off in an open backed pick-up style transit van.

The occupiers were shocked and say they have no idea why the attack happened.
Hmmm….

Now, either they waved the knife around through the flap – not very scary given they couldn’t get in – or they actually dropped the knife – again, not scary, because now they are disarmed and you’ve got their knife!

You've probably also got their finger prints, DNA and thus their identity and a conviction if any effort at all is made ?

"Home owners are living in fear" ..

Refuse to be intimidated & let them know that ..

With any luck they'll be back .. to deliver the fork & spoon ..

Man-up FFS !

"put a knife through the door"?

Could also be rammed a knife into the door so hard it went through. Which would be slightly more threatening than pushing it through the letterbox.

Anyway, I thought it was fishing rods that got pushed through letter boxes?

W/v "copper" :)

Looks like 'wrong address' for delivering an unfriendly message to me, in the US, SWAT teams kill people like that on a regular basis, so it's no surprise our crims here get it wrong at times too.

Expect a repeat visit :(

Well, yes, assuming they're known to police. What are the odds?

Heh!

"Looks like 'wrong address' for delivering an unfriendly message to me..."

Yup, I suspect that's what the police suspect too...
