We Will Remember Them...

Peace, by Rupert Brooke

Oh! we, who have known shame, we have found release there,
Where there's no ill, no grief, but sleep has mending,
Naught broken save this body, lost but breath;
Nothing to shake the laughing heart's long peace there
But only agony, and that has ending;

I have total respect for the people that have made the ultimate sacrifice.I wonder if they are looking down on this country now and thinking "was it worth it?".

No I don't think it was:

You now get arrested for burning your own property and taking a picture of it. Whether or not this man is an adherent of the ROP makes no difference. This country has become a police state.

I wondered that too yesterday morning, when I saw Kent Police swoop and hold a man overnight for...posting a picture on social media.

"Whether or not this man is an adherent of the ROP makes no difference."

He seems to be white English underclass, Jim. But you're spot on. It does indeed make no difference.
