Leadership - This Isn't It....

Sharon Shoesmith begged Government inspectors to put a 'positive' spin on the damning report which ended her career, it was revealed yesterday.
Those who live by the sword spin...
Days earlier, the former schools inspector had asked another investigator if he could keep her name out of the dossier, effectively leaving her junior social workers to take the blame for the tragedy.
Obviously, she didn't attend enough management training courses. Or she was equally useless at that too...

And she forgot the first rule of going toe-to-toe with the civil service - make sure you know where all the bodies are buried:
Previously unpublished details of Ofsted's findings were put before the High Court yesterday as Mrs Shoesmith continued her attempt to overturn her sacking and win a compensation payout.
Stick a fork in her. She's done.

Certainly puts her mawkish suicidal tendencies into perspective.

Just another apparatchik promoted way above her capabilities and unable to deal with the consequences of the faecal matter colliding with the cool air distributor.

Personally, I'm glad Shoesmith has been ruined financially and will never work again...she should never be let near any position of any responsibility at all. Ever. Pity she didn't do us all a favour of chucking herself off Westminster Bridge and save the taxpayer the expense of a tribunal.
