Oh, I Just Bet He Was...

Reading the entries, Mr Butterworth, antisocial behaviour officer at the council, was visibly perspiring.
Never mind, Mr Butterworth.

I'm sure your court ordeal won't be so bad, and go on for so long, that you feel the only recourse you have is to get in your car with a petrol can and a match...

Why do we bother employing these people? They are just a dead weight on the taxpayer. They don't even achieve anything.

Far better to pass a law saying any altercation that takes place on private property between the property owner(or his representatives) and a 3rd party will be ignored by the police, as long as no serious injury occurs.

Allow people to defend their property (and themselves) if they are at home. The teenage thugs would soon get the message that the police couldnt help them if they get caught vandalising someones car and get a good kicking from a burly householder.

The more I read of this case the angrier I get. Heads should roll for this, but somehow all I expect is a review and the comment "Lessons will be learned" The mantra of the righteous trapped in the limelight until the public forget and go onto the next scandal.

I blogged on this tragedy a few days ago, it is one of the most heartbreaking cases ever. Succinctly demonstrates just how f****d the UK is, despite the multitude of liberty crushing laws 'for our own good' introduced by this government.

Take him out and burn him, please...

A cannibal walks into the clearing his tribe uses for a toilet. He sees his best friend having a shit and crying his eyes out.

"What's wrong with you?" he asks.

His pal looks up at him with watery eyes and asys "I've just dumped my girlfriend."

You mean the behaviour officer was being anti-social?

Perhaps chief constables aren't the only positions that need to be made directly electable?

"The more I read of this case the angrier I get."

Me too. Can't wait for the summing up.

It's like shining a light on what the UK has become. I must see if it's being picked up by any foreign blogs...

Does seem to have the bit between her teeth, doesn't she?

"You mean the behaviour officer was being anti-social?"

I'd suggest an 'exclusion zone' around him, but who'd enforce it?
