Ah yes, but the lad had "ADHD" (a completely made up condition) which, as you explained this morning, is one of the Victimhood Poker cards that trumps "woman".

Oh, I don't think it's completely made up - I'm sure there are some people that suffer from it, as with dyslexia.
I do, however, doubt it's anything like as widespread as schools and parents would have us believe.

I suspect that ADHD, like dyslexia, though real enough in some cases are also middle class jargon for 'We didn't teach our child manners, or make him do his homework.'
Conversely and oddly enough, kids at the schools I worked in tended to be diagnosed for these syndromes more frequently the lower down the socio-economic scale their parents [mothers] were. Rohypnol worked on some, but I can't help thinking that a damn good hiding after each incident of 'challenging behaviour' would have cured most of their afflictions. Cheap, too.
