I always think the Lifeboats is one charity that I need to support because I am the last person ever who would dare go out and rescue someone in weather like that. I am so grateful someone else is willing to do that.
"...because I am the last person ever who would dare go out and rescue someone in weather like that. "Spot on! And it's a volunteer duty too, like mountain rescue.

Half an hour later comes the secretary, or so such, from the local British Liegion.Bags of cash. Pays the arseholes bail. Why? Because "Daddy was an associate member, he (and his family) was entitled to "charity" from the poppy fund. Even though neither "Father" nor son had even been in the bloody army CADETS, never mind the ARMY (Navy/Air Force)NOW tell me that something is not dodgy there.
