Err, No Comment...

A furious father threatened to attack his girlfriend's mother with a baseball bat.

Lee Martin, 26 , flipped after an anonymous tip-off to Social Services that his daughter was living in a "violent" house.
That showed those anonymous tipsters, didn't it..?

Julia, what’s the sudden interest with Brighton and Hove(actually)?

My experience of this part of the world is that anything and everything can and does happen. If you spend more than five minutes in this part of the world a certain amount of desensitisation occurs. A bit like Londoners tend to be less surprised than tourists by being evacuated from tube stations by false security alerts.

This guy is clearly a charmer, not!!! I doubt his claims that his life had changed were entirely true but it's sad that having being stopped from being a little shit, I'm confident nothing will be done to help him to change for the better. That's if he wants to of course. Does anyone appreciate that single minded retrabutative(btw if that’s not a word it should be) punishments generally serve only to make matters worse? Condone and/or accept his behaviour whatever the given reasons - absolutely not. Once it has been prevented from happening again make efforts to channel the negative energy into something, anything positive - surely we all stand to gain?

Oh, I read a huge variety of online newspapers. It just so happens that these three stories were all on the front page!

I'm sure it's no worse than any other town.

He has to start that process off. And until he sees a downside to behaving like an animal (loss of money, loss of liberty) there's no reason for him to change.

OK, so he has been stopped, he is in prison. Now we, represented by the authorities have the opportunity to give him that chance to change. You are right he has to take it.

Or fuck him, I agree

Julia - feel free to delete this once you've read it. In lieu of an email, I'll have to use an older post.

Would you do a guest post at my place, either on something outrageous or something which is more your hobby?

Croydonian has just done one and DK promises one if he can get his act together. Mr. Eugenides soon.

If you could see your way clear, create youself an email and i can send you the Blogger invite - you know how it works.
