Maybe The Youth Of Today Aren't As Bad As We Thought..?

Hmm, a follow-up to this story is disturbing:
An inquiry into the "kicking to death" of a 10-week-old puppy has ended after police found the animal had died from a virus and showed no sign of injury.
Though I suppose in one way, it's heartening that we don't have yobs out there kicking 10 week old puppies to death, the fact that it was accepted without question shows just what sort of society we are becoming.

Of course, there are people out there not above drowning them instead...

Well sort of.

It was 15 year old girl who made up the original story. Why?

According to some local papers, the family are adamant she didn't.

Hard to know what to believe - perhaps someone aimed a kick and missed, and the girl thought it had connected?

Well I know one thing - no mammal dies "instantly" from viral infaction. even the most fast acting viruses take a day or two to kill you and this is preceded by major symptoms.

Dying instantly from a virus - bollocks
