A Likely Story…

Sophie Murray, defending, said her client is now clean of drink and drugs for the first time in 12 years.
She said: “He’s 33 years old and doesn’t want to continue committing offences. He expresses his deep remorse for his actions and said he didn’t know he was suffering from cerebral palsy.”
Because hey, if he hadn’t been, it would have been perfectly OK to do what he did?
Brain, of Mortimer Road, Rose Hill, was jailed for 16 months at Oxford Crown Court on Friday after earlier admitting inflicting grievous bodily harm in the attack on September 6. Under the Government’s early release scheme, he could be out of jail in just eight months.
No doubt there will be clamours to have this regarded as a ‘disability hate crime’ to ensure the next thug gets a top-up on the pitifully small sentence the judge dishes out, while anyone not afflicted with a disability will be expected just to shut up and take it…

Rodney Brain ... perhaps the most inappropriately named man in Britain (check-out the photo in the link)..

“He’s 33 years old and doesn’t want to continue committing offences .... "

How very laudable .. I think that Brain should be assisted in his desire .. with a 9mm round behind the ear ..

Let's face it, he'd be no loss to society .. and the gene pool would be that little bit cleaner ..

"25 convictions for 58 offences"

One of the many small sods of grass which feed the cash cow businesses of criminal lawyers.

It's a rather warped one, then!

I think the entire criminal justice system is no more than a lawyer job creation scheme...
