Come on, don't you want to buy a copy now, to find out just what happened? I know I do! And so does Macheath!
Mind you, now the hot weather's here, we can probably expect more like this one, from the 'Echo':
A headline that prompts the question 'Well? Was he done, or did he need a few more minutes?'...

Well probably, because isn't the victim always to blame?
Comments at the paper. It reminds me of a day nearly 20 years back in my area when Travelling Family A ambushed Travelling Family B as they left the post office with their giros :
"To be more correct, it was a Wok, A frying pan, A glass dish and a gardening fork and about 20 people against 4"
"My two sons unfortunately witnessed this first hand yesterday afternoon. Although there appear to be a number of jokes posted, it wasn't really very funny for those people who were running trying to get away from them as it wasn't just pans, but knives also."
Laban, I had the same thought; I wonder if that's the reason behind the surprising lack of information available online - in this day and age, that usually means no official press releases have been put out.
After all, a mass brawl in a busy shopping street involving 24 people - some of them armed - and several arrests could usually be expected to feature in more than one small local paper, could it not?
PS, Thanks for the link, JuliaM!

I think you might have hit the nail on the head...

I'm a little surprised it hasn't made the 'Mail'!
