To be fair, I had a CT scan to ensure there wasn't an underlying neurological reason for my rapidly deteriorating eyesight because it was more diagnostic of the sorts of things that would have been likely to cause it than an MRI. Plus it only cost me £150, so it's hardly as if the hospital made out like bandits.

So maybe, the next time you come down with a case of the sniffles, you should drink lots of fluids and harden the fuck up.
